Empowering Economic Growth Foundation (EEGF) is a private operating foundation based in the US. Founded in 2019, EEGF is dedicated to developing and funding transformational entrepreneurs, empowering them to make a positive impact on the world through innovation, job creation and development of opportunity for underprivileged and marginalized communities. Foundation activities are focused primarily on Nigeria, but EEGF selectively supports worthy causes and visionary founders around the world.

EEGF’s primary focus is Cascador, a ground-breaking program for mid-stage entrepreneurs in Africa. Launched in 2019, Cascador elevates an annual cohort of 10 companies through a unique blend of education, self-discovery, mentoring, pitch training, and personalized advisory support. Alumni have collectively raised over $55M USD in capital and are hard at work solving problems, employing high-performing teams, and transforming their communities for the better.

At EEGF, we are breaking the VC mindset around philanthropic investment, lending and giving.
